A bit of fun. If it is found they were not drinking just let them off with a promise not to do it again now that they got their 15 minutes of fame. 

 

I always found backyard inventions like this to be a good thing because people do a lot of problem solving to come up with solutions to make things work. Skills that are transferable to the workplace as well. This is why I like it.
