Is it possible to use (conventional) VOR nav tracking with the MD11?  If yes, how is it engaged?

Thank you,

Use the NAV RAD page on the CDU. Insert the frequency/identifier and a course and click VOR ARM.

Thank you Kenny.  I look forward to trying this.  Normally use the MD11's outstanding FMC for Nav;  but thought it would be

interesting to try something more conventional for a change..........

Best regards,

Kenny,

I can get the VOR to Arm and can see the CDI properly indicating the radial deviation on the ND (when EFIS set to "VOR"); however

I haven't figured out how to get the AP to automatically adjust the heading to track the radial.  The AP continues to track the next WP of the

FMC flight plan.

Best regards,

Hi Ken,

VOR tracking is only possible below 18000ft. Above that, you can arm it, however tracking will only begin below 18000ft.
