I'm sure the last chapter still needs to be written on this topic,but there are combinations that cause tears in the textures and others that do not. Your combo works OK on my system, but I do not like the big number for the levels... so right now I am flying with 9.5 / 2.75 / 4 and all seems well...

I spoke too soon - still getting the tears with anyfigures above zero - but then my terrain is not all that sharp and loads slowly, in blocks. I'm going to have to give up for a while and come back to it - I'm spending hours trying to get the thing to work as I want it. Life's too short!!M. :-)

When you do get back to it, try the 2.5 / 6.0 / 1 combination... it seems to be the most stable for me.
