New Winglet Equipment

Featured Replies

Hey PMDG-Team,

a good German Airline announced that they will "update" their winglets on their 737 fleet coming Winter.. as you can see on the picture attached. would it be possible to add those new winglets with an option in the FMC, to choose between the "old" ones and the new ones? maybe for SP1?

Cheers

If you can´t read it, you can´t fly it. Real world B777F pilot

I would love to see this as an option, even if it is purely visual.  United intend to equip the majority of their 737ng fleet with the new winglets.

Well Hiroshi Igami and Kyle Schurb over at TDS are working on a 737v2 which covers the 700/800/900 and MAX series with the LEAP engines & new MAX winglets,

Which is not very helpful if we are talking the NGX.

IIRC Ryan has told that this would have to have some more changes to dynamics and economics of the airplane, but they might eventually include it when more real data will become available. I doubt it will make time for SP2 though (SP1 is out already).

I was well aware that you were referring to the NGX, I was offering another solution to you and others that might not be as well known in case PMDG decides against the "upgrade", I would like to think it was somewhat helpful.

Guy's I would like to say that this has already been discussed in multiple other forums.
