New Winglet Equipment
I would love to see this as an option, even if it is purely visual. United intend to equip the majority of their 737ng fleet with the new winglets. Fred Miller

You have 52K of thrust? I have 220,000 pounds...
Luke, you should attempt to do a ULH leg, like New York to Sydney. Do a flight to really test the 'world' liner. Love the screenshots! Fed Miller

737 extended range versions:
Does PMDG have any plans of releasing the extended range variants of the 737ng with the hypothesized sp3 release after the T7? The 737-900er is getting many orders from airlines today and is definitely worth being modeled by pmdg. Fred Miller

777 automatic step climbs
Could PMDG make it an option for the FMC to perform automatic step climbs (like the MD-11)? On longer flights, when I am often away from the computer, I can get incorrect fuel predictions if I do not initiate the step climb at the optimum time. This is especially important in the T7, when flights can be up to 18 hours! Fred Miller-

777 automatic step climbs
Will the pmdg 777 automatically perform step climbs like the MD-11, or do you have to press the altitude intervention button to initiate a step climb? Thanks- Fred Miller

Best FSX prebuilt computer for less than 2800?
fredlander replied to fredlander's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcI am not abject to overclocking the computer myself, I OC'd my I7-870 to 3.9 GHZ but had problems when my computer would go to sleep and not wake up. Isn't the i7-3820 better than the i7-3770k? Can FSX take advantage of 6 cores? Thanks

Best FSX prebuilt computer for less than 2800?
fredlander replied to fredlander's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcThanks for the input. A few more questions: Should I invest in liquid cooling for any parts besides the processor? Can FSX take advantage of six cores? Is getting a Z77 chip not practical for future upgrades? Are there any FSX computer builders in the southern california area? Thanks, Fred

Best FSX prebuilt computer for less than 2800?
Hi, I am looking at replacing my three year old FSX gaming rig with something more modern. Building my own computer is out of the question, even though it will save hundreds of dollars. My pricing limit is $2800. I am going to buy the computer from IBUYPOWER, because they are a local shop near me. What sort of processor should I invest in, the i7 3930k, the i7 3770, thes i7 3960k, or the i7 3820? Also, should I only get liquid cooling for the processor, or for other parts also. So far the current specs are: I7 3930k with 20% OC Liquid cooling with triple radiator 16 GB 4 by 4 Ram Nvidia GTX 660 2gb (graphics card is not that important, right? Does the graphics card need liquid cooling?) mobo: asus sabertooth x79 (will this be good for future upgrades?) 1000W power Dual 180 gb SSD's 1 tb 7200 rpm hard drive Asus xonar dg sound card How will these run FSX, and what can I improve. The customization site is http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Gamer_Paladin_F875.

Realistic Range of NGX
I am having a difficult time getting close to the published range of the 737-700WL (3440NM). I have set the payload to a load factor of 70% in order to be able to reach 100% fuel without exceeding MTOW. So far, I have only been able to push the -700 to 2700NM with no winds aloft. Any ideas? Fred Miller

How far can my PMDG 737-800 go?
We will have to wait until pmdg releases the 737 700er. Fred Miller

Routes you're looking forward to doing?
At what payloads is the 9300 nm range achievable? Fred Miller

PMDG 737NGX Pricing and Availability
I also would love to see the er versions modeled. Delta just ordered 100 900er's, and the 700er would be great for thin transatlantic routes. Fred Miller

Does Anyone Know Of A VA That.........
Are there any VA's that operate all models of the 737ng (600-900 series)?
