Well known problem - TripleHead2Go + Halo.bmp

Featured Replies

Running a new rig with triplehead2go, usual (well documented) problem with over sized lights, which I've largely overcome with an alternative Halo.bmp, plus the "Scaler" mods in FSX.cfg. Runway lights and VASI's look OK. But I can still see huge light bursts on the apron whilst on approach. Like here:

And the aircraft lights are still odd, even using the smallest halo.bmp I could find.

Spent several hours today googling the problem, and was thinking with the big increase in triple screeners this problem must have been definitively solved by now, but can't seem to find a solution, in fact most of the threads are positively ancient! Has Spotlight.bmp got anything to do with it?

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

Eugene

I've got similar issues as well.

I've used two sets of halo.bmp.  One for when I use a single screen and a second for when I use my wrap-around.  That's my work-around.  Of course I get lazy and hardly ever switch back-n-forth, ha!
