Ezdok Effects for Tubeliners

Featured Replies

Hello,
I have these camera effects fthat I use for the NGX and I don't remember where I got them from, they're ok but I have some problems with them. My problem is that I always use the HUD (I like simulating AAL flights) and the effects constantly move me out of view of the HUD...and so I have to constantly press a button to bring me back too my orignal camera view so I can see the HUD. Does anyone have some effects profiles they can share with me? I'm looking for a little bump and rattle during turbulence and while screaming down the runway but I want the camera to always bring me back to my default positon; instead of moving me a couple inches away from the center of the view....so I can see the HUD. I would think that pilots can get slammed pretty good when they're being rocked by turbulence, but they're strapped in a seat with a 5 point harnest so they always remaine in the same postion. Anways if anyone could help that would be wonderful.

Thanks you.

Just copy the default 737 pilot eyes cam. Turn off effects to set the eyepoint, and when you're happy save it and turn the effects on. If you're still losing view of the HUD from effects you probably don't have zoom set well.

Load up the default 737 in game, then open up the EZCA control panel and select the Pilot Eyes view. In the menu there is an option to clone the view with effects which brings up a Save Dialog. Save it anywhere you like, then load up the NGX and you can import the camera. Off the top of my head you right-click a blank entry and there's an import option.

there is a problem with FSX effects - momentum, head movement and resizing. This is really annoying, but you can't disable them. You can reduce, but they will still be there, and they are changing your default point of view regarding your geografic location...  Very strange, and again annoying! I managed to fix almost all that i didn't liked in FSX, but we have to live with this. This actualy changes your eyepoint in VC, and you can see this effect better after long haul flights.

To reduce this as much as posible, disable all dynamic head movements in fsx.CFG(set all parameters to 0) and in "camera.cfg" set momentum to "no" "false" or "0", i can't remember what is correct option but i will check on my PC later.

You can find more about this here http://forum.avsim.net/topic/402486-dynamic-head-movement-in-fsx/
