August 9, 201312 yr Not sure why this happens, but at least it's not during a flight. At times when exiting out of FSX it will crash, and it ranges from stackhash, to ui.dll, g2d.dll, etc. Does anyone know why it happens and what I can do to fix this problem? August 10, 201312 yr Means you have a serious problem with your installation of FSX and FSX addons. There are no known "fixes" for the errors you described except to reinstall. You, as the computer user, must investigate and try to find out why your computer is suddenly having these crashes when shutting down. Recommend complete uninstall/reinstall - http://support.precisionmanuals.com/KB/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx.aspx. The Event Viewer>Custom Views>Administrative Events provides a lot of information about what's going right and what's going wrong with your computer. It could provide a tip as to your issue(s). The AppCrashView program shows every Microsoft crash since you installed Windows and it provides invaluable information about each crash. I personally think it is all memory related as fsx uses a lot of resources but it really could be anything. I had the StackHash crash (when closing FSX) before and solved it by reinstalling Windows and FSX. Best regards, Jim Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource!
