August 12, 201312 yr Dear all, May I check the current v2.1 of the Aerosoft A300 sold on either Aerosoft or Simmarket has the Engineer Panel fully in 3D (3D knobs) right? Because I saw photos of it on Aersoft, although V2.1, with a flat Engineer Panel. I also saw the SP2 release notes that Simcheck may drop the 3D panel if it affects frame rate. Just want to confirm for the purchase, as it is important for me to have Engineer Panel with 3D knobs. Thank you .
August 12, 201312 yr Yes it is in 3D. http://simchecksoftware.com/forum/index.php?topic=150.0 I am flying it right at this moment, ( Ver 2.1) and is one of my favorite planes. A must buy Works in DX9 or 10. Maybe sometime this month, a retrofit FMC might be released. August 12, 201312 yr Thanks alot Julian. After the Milviz purchase, I feel like to go back a bit to the basis INS stuff after all FMC, MCDU etc... and the Simcheck A300 looks like a nice plane to go for

It is old school, and I have had many hours of enjoyment. The developer Bjorn is great on support, so join up on the forum via the link above, and there is plenty of users to help you get started. My first flight, I cooked the engines, so it is very realistic. Enjoy. August 12, 201312 yr Systems may work fine, but don't expect too much from the VC. Yeah, it is getting a bit dated. Better than the Mad Dog VC. About on par with the MD11. August 12, 201312 yr Thanks all. Yes the VC is a bit outdated (mainly the low-res texture, do hope that they can consider some higher res update ...), but the environment is still very believable. . So far so good with it .
August 13, 201312 yr I perosnally think the VCs absolutely fine. Everything is readable and it feels old, and believeable...... The plus side with non-HD textured stuff is better performance, which I personally value. The comparison with the PMDG MD-11 is about right I'd say. The Simcheck A300 is a sheer classic. ........but I'm not an INS fan so cant wait for the retrofit!
August 13, 201312 yr The VC is fine and you'll love the immersion, glad its on par with the MD-11 as that was on my 'next purchase' list.
August 13, 201312 yr It's a great add-on that I recommend hands down. One of the best and possibly most underrated. Flying SID's and STAR's by hand is demanding but very rewarding! Also looking forward to the FMC to see what it's like. Colin
