  3. Thanks Ollie, does OOM cause FSX to break however? FSGRW doesn't work now either it says that FSX is not running and I cannot import weather. I have heard of OOM before but this seems to have completely broken my FSX installation.
  4. I have a little back story so please stay with me. I landed the MD-11F at UK scenery 2000 Glasgow. I then taxied in and changed to the outside view. I then heard a ping followed by a "fatal error occured" and fsx crashed. I then tried the 737 NGX. There was now no task bar at the top of the screen and I was unable to right click the scrren anymore and my joystick didn't work. Is there a way I can pinpoint what is causing my problems with fsx? Thanks. Colin
  5. Thanks Pete, I came to the conclusion too that they get deleated once FSX is uninstalled. I reinstalled everything, took hours! But all is fine again. Thanks for the help.

  8. Yes I looked at the DLL but couldn't figure it out and instead opted for the fresh install, I have the hidden folders checked also. I checked to see the folders before I uninstalled and when I then did they were no longer there!
  9. Hi, all I had installed FSX into the C:/FSX folder like PMDG suggest when I bought the 737, now here is my problem. I bought the feelthere E-Jets V2 for myself for Christmas and it messed up my FSX. I was unable to load the MD-11 without a "fatal error" occurring and a CTD. My reaction was to uninstall FSX again and try a fresh install W/O the feeltere E jets. Uninstalled everything as per the guide on the website but I can now not locate the app data folder supposedly located here C:\Users\(Your Windows Account Name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX or the shared cache folder located here C:\Users\(Your Windows Account Name)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\FSX. Do these two folders now reside somewhere else since my FSX was installed in C:/FSX and not program files. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thank you Colin.

Hi, So the MD-11 used to work perfectly, then I was away for 3 months and now I tried to do a flight and when FSX finishes loading the Yoke is all the way to the left and there is no power to the A/C and I cannot click any of the switches, I can't even turn on the battery! I have no clue how this has happened, my 737 and J41 work perfectly. Is there something that I can do to get this beast working again or is it a fresh install I need? Colin Delaney

  13. Now that would be amazing! I fly the flight 1 ATR on Vatsim and love it but an updated model would be very welcome. The 600 to go alongside the Q400. Check out the X-plane Saab 340 by X-Aviation

  15. Ok not so cool then. Why wasn't this an issue with the NGX then? I absolutely hate anything and everything to do with tablets. Paper manuals for me thanks! Tablets look so tacky in cockpits! Hope draft is removed soon too.
  16. I read that the 777 manuals are not able to be printed. Also DRAFT is written on all the pages. Is this a long term deal or just for the moment? I really hope that the manuals will be printable in the future (near). This really is the only thing stopping me from purchasing.
  17. I'll think long and hard about this. I was a day one customer but when I saw the price I was knocked back quite a bit, I'm pondering over it ever since. But with no printable manuals I'm even more put off. The price I can get over but for an aircraft that really needs manuals for it I'm more than a little disappointed about that decision (NGX had printable manuals) and I hope they reconsider this.

  19. Being from Ireland I actually fly to the UK most often. I fly to airports and on routes that I'v done in real life on the real aircraft. For me "long haul" is a trip to Zurich or Vienna. I only fly to locations that I have payware airports for and on Vatsim. So I do think there is a lot to be said about flying in your own geographical location. Years ago I would have flown in the US alot but since getting onto Vatsim I'v become a real home bird! ^_^

  21. Any constant speed prop planned? I was initially a sure customer but after just watching the vids and seeing fixed pitch props I'm now couldn't really care about it. Call me picky but I demand a lot for my money.
  22. A straight efficiency goes to the A330, but the payload/range belongs to the 767/777. So you could say if you had more to move over a longer range then the 67/77 would be the choice. The 200ER has a higher fuel burn so the A330 comes out on top there too. It's no surprise that Airliners choose the A330, it's cheaper and more efficient.
  23. I think as a whole they've made some real bad choices for the UK and Ireland packages. I remember they were complaining about the airfields not selling and deciding possibly not to do anymore. I think it was a great message from the community that people won't accept paying full whack for a grass strip! Having regional airports is a good way to go if they want to make airports. I believe Southampton will sell well, as you get more for your money. Hopefully they will consider doing more. Just doing GA airports takes for example the people who fly the J41, Avro RJ and Q400 out of the mix. I also think they should have sold N.I and Ireland as the same product. But I imagine the community will speak again on this and the price will drop before long. I like that they've done the scenery but as a price to size ration is not good at all. I'll wait and see if the price changes to make a decision.
  24. Hmm I thought they said the size would be reflected in the price? It's the same price as wales basically and wales came with Cardiff airport! I think they've missed the mark by a long shot... can't imagine this will sell well at all.
