Any 200/ER 300 Planned?

Featured Replies

I would like clarification on this, are the 200, 200ER and 300 planned for the 777 series?

I ask because I really like aircraft that have different engine models, the though of using the Trent 800 and PW 4000 appeal to me a lot more than just having the GE90.

I saw it mentioned many moons ago and wondered had it went any further.

From what I understand, the 200ER, and the 300 were meant to be progressed based on how the sales of the base package (200LR/F) did.

Am I supposed to put my overly priced and powered computer specs here? Sorry, I must have no tolerance for idiots who do that.

So when's the PMDG 777x gonna' be released?

Sorry you got your hopes up..But hey..Look on the bright side...It's not for FSX..

Based on the sales of the  200LR LMAO! Capitalism at its best: release the least desirable model first that so that you have to purchase it in order to purchase yet again the other more desirable derivatives.

I voted in that pole anyway. Didn't see a mention of the 300 in it.
I'm always disappointed if developers decide to make a family of aircraft and only do a couple of them.

That doesn't mean say doing the 737 from 100 up to 900. But when the aircraft are very similar.
No cheating on engine variants being only models though! Has to be correct fuel and thrust performance ^_^

So hopefully they will consider and then release the 200,200ER and 300 with the different engine variants!

It would be such a missed opportunity to overlook the original 777 series.

Here's hoping they make it in!

I think if they are making the -200/ER they will make the normal -300 too. Hopefully they decide to make them.

Then I can complete my future Emirates fleet in fsx.  B)

PMDG must have been thinking of me then as it's the freighter version I'm after   The 200LR's will be collecting a little dust as long as there's freight to haul.

Crazy to see that 90% almost equates to 900 people. Didn't expect to see that much of a response!

I'd say 900 people is a statistically significant group. So while it might not be "right now", I do think a 200ER is in the pipeline.

Wasn't there supposed to be the 737-900ER at some point in consideration, too?

Check out my repaints and downloads, all right here on AVSIM

The whole reason they picked the -200LR and -200F/-300ER to do first is because of engine commonality... They all have the same engine so it's easier to develop those models.
