August 14, 201312 yr After take off, I say GEAR UP and it goes up..But after about 15sec FO says gear up again, and I hear the sound from the gear lever like the FO moves the gear lever ?

August 15, 201312 yr Commercial Member The FO will reply "Gear up" when you say "Gear Up" to confirm the command. What I'm guessing is the speech recognition heard the FO say "Gear Up", and thought you were saying it, so you got caught in a loop of sorts.
