If you do, please revert to the state before applying those Windows updates and run FSX again. See what happens...

Hi, yeah I already tried that but I cant remember if it was restored to the "before state"

Anyhow now I dont have a restore point going back that far

 

Im trying to start in safe mode by tapping F8 but takes me to a screen showing boot options that are the same as in the Bios but no safe mode.

Im trying to start in safe mode by tapping F8 but takes me to a screen showing boot options that are the same as in the Bios but no safe mode.

this is because there are a few disk storages in your PC. Choose your system drive and keep on hold F8, boot options will appear.
Check the state of each installed updates in Win`s update center. You can uninstall any of them.

I uninstalled all todays updates and that didnt work,

Okay turned out it was FTX central at ORBX that was causing it.

problem solved and thanks for the input guys, appreciated :-)
