August 15, 201312 yr Author Hi, yeah I already tried that but I cant remember if it was restored to the "before state" Anyhow now I dont have a restore point going back that far Im trying to start in safe mode by tapping F8 but takes me to a screen showing boot options that are the same as in the Bios but no safe mode. August 15, 201312 yr Im trying to start in safe mode by tapping F8 but takes me to a screen showing boot options that are the same as in the Bios but no safe mode. this is because there are a few disk storages in your PC. Choose your system drive and keep on hold F8, boot options will appear.Check the state of each installed updates in Win`s update center. You can uninstall any of them. Oleg Uvarov
