August 22, 201312 yr I'm thinking of getting a new joystick and throttle, and want options beyond saitek, I've googled around, and there doesn't seem to be many options for either or both.
August 22, 201312 yr When I was thinking about picking up a yoke with my new system back in April, I didn't read anything that I liked as far as opinions. With their yokes, it seems like the plastic materials don't hold up. I use a thrustmaster (this is my 2nd one in ten years) and I've always been happy with them. Chase Barnett
August 22, 201312 yr Thrustmaster hotas warthog. $400-500 but worth it. Saitek sticks aren't too bad; x52 and x65. I don't like their yoke or throttle. Too flimsy imo. There are several metal yokes and throttles of the tm warthog quality, but pricey. 600-700 each. Pfc makes several yokes. Goflight is another. Goflight just released a 737 yoke but I've not seen any user reviews. There is a review in the recent issue of pc pilot Brent Baker
August 22, 201312 yr Brent the Saitek cessna yoke is rock solid nothing flimsy about this yoke, so glad I dumped my old ch yoke, Saitek is way better the only thing I didnt know and not to fond of is the TQ that comes with it has to plug into the yoke. Rich Sennett
August 22, 201312 yr Author Anything that is less than 400$? I'm not looking to spend a fortune, just want something sturdy and reliable.
