What are my options?

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of getting a new joystick and throttle, and want options beyond saitek, I've googled around, and there doesn't seem to be many options for either or both.

When I was thinking about picking up a yoke with my new system back in April, I didn't read anything that I liked as far as opinions. With their yokes, it seems like the plastic materials don't hold up.

I use a thrustmaster (this is my 2nd one in ten years) and I've always been happy with them.

Thrustmaster hotas warthog. $400-500 but worth it. Saitek sticks aren't too bad; x52 and x65. I don't like their yoke or throttle. Too flimsy imo. There are several metal yokes and throttles of the tm warthog quality, but pricey. 600-700 each. Pfc makes several yokes. Goflight is another. Goflight just released a 737 yoke but I've not seen any user reviews. There is a review in the recent issue of pc pilot

Brent the Saitek cessna yoke is rock solid nothing flimsy about this yoke, so glad I dumped my old ch yoke, Saitek is way better the only thing I didnt know and not to fond of is the TQ that comes with it has to plug into the yoke.

Anything that is less than 400$? I'm not looking to spend a fortune, just want something sturdy and reliable.
