NGX cockpit shaking with TrackIR

Featured Replies

Hoping someone can help with a new problem I'm having.

Using TrackIR, as soon as I start taxiing in the NGX the camera starts shaking violently. Once I stop it remains still. Mind you this only happens if I'm using TrackIR. It also only happens if I install the 600/700. If I only have the 800/900, this shaking doesn't occur.

Can anyone help me out?

How violent is it?

The shaking is (IIRC) part of the realism, as the plane vibrates as it moves, like a car going over bumps

I'm using TrakIR with the whole series of B737 without any problems.

Did you check the sensitivity of your movement settings? I've set mine to quite low values just taking care that I can observe the full 360° if necessary (speed=1.1, smooth=50).

Good luck!

Regards,
Axel

Nevermind, fixed it, realized Opus FSX had DHM on for the VC. Answering my own question so I can look it up when I forget it later. :)
