[29JUN16] PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies II - Tech Testing Commences
Well my wife was informed that i would be making this purchase as soon as it is released, I will wager a guess we would probably look at the same price as the 777, because even with 4 engines the thrust produced is very similar to the trust produced by those monstrosities on each wing pylon of the 777!!!! Kyle et al. Just some humor on a monday!

[31JUL16] Activation Issues
What else could anyone have expected from PMDG, they always go the extra mile!, and in this case mile and a half!

Why my throttles doesn't work?
Just a few bob from me, in your CDU/FMC there is an option either under PMDG or Settings, where you have to enter your activation key, maybe you missed that step, i know i have in the past!

EMERGENCY included in the PMDG 777?
I think the 747 is still a few months away, so my bet is on your UGCX to come out first but then again, its like gambling against the house, and we all know the house always win!

[29JUN16] PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies II - Tech Testing Commences
Thanks Robert! Im still solidly an FSX (Boxed) Pilot, and during the last few years bought add-on's to increase the life span and shortcomings of FSX, i think i am now in a happy place, im not going to upgrade to Win10, Win 7 is excellent and running my 777 and 737 with these systems have created this "happy place" feeling. I love my 777, and 737, before the release of the 777, my long range aircraft of choice was the 747, my VA still has many in operation, so cant wait to get my hands on the new version, i am sure that i will have a huge learning curve again, as was evident with the 777. I dont want to start a this developer product is better than that one or vice versa, i believe its up the individual, some loves the eye candy others again wants the systems, i think this is where PMDG is better than most other developers as they cater for both. When i fly i am mainly on the flightdeck, and not too worried about if the repaint is exactly as per the real world, but the systems and flow is important to me. I am happy that we have to wait, because at the end of the day you are getting an aircraft that is spot on, and it gives one when you sit down in the left hand seat that feeling knowing that so many hours have gone into this product and that RW pilots, engineers, maintenance people have used this product and according to them everything works as it should! Good luck for the next stage of this development! Kind regards Marius Scheepers Captain British Airways Virtual

Hi Rob, Please remember to sign all your posts with your name, the moderators are quite strict and might just remove your post. Coming to the Saitek panel and your question, I use SPAD free download from here http://fstools.weebly.com/ ,then there is also LINDA but im not so clued up on that. But give SPAD a try i also thought i wasted moolah when i couldnt get it to work untill someone also pointed me in that direction. Hope you come right!!

Any luck with aftermarket MCP's?
I have the OpenCockpits MCP v2, i know OC have the 777 script somewhere, i opted for the easy way and purchased the installer (much easier option) and the 2 scripts for the 737NGX and 777X from the site. Installed it all last weekend and tested it, seems to work like a charm!! Will do some more testing this weekend, but im totally stoked about it!

Opencockpits MCP V2
Good day fellow 737 Pilots, I have a HUGE problem, i bought online a Opencockpits MCP to use with my PMDG 737NGX. Now i have tried almost everything, let me just say it out first I am not at all a computer fundi, very far from it im actually useless, if it cant self install, then yeah i have a problem. Is there anyone here that has this MCP, and can give it to me in a "Dummies Guide to Installing the OpenCockpits MCP for the PMDG 737NGX", pretty please!!! I really want to use it, the previous owner used it with IFLY 737 and he was chuffed, so happy for him, but i prefer the PMDG version. Thanks!!!!!!!

B777 Throttle Lever Dimensions
Good day all, I have been searching all sorts of websites and maybe its just me but i cant find anywhere the dimensions of the throttle levers, pitch & trim Speedbrake and Flaps lever, not the whole qaudrant just the actual dimensions of the parts sticking out the qaudrant, i hope im not confusing someone here now. I know there are people in the UK, USA etc that make these slip on's for the saitek throttle qaundrants, but im in South Africa and here its pretty expensive to import these items, so i would like to make my own, and because this is the PMDG B777 forum and i know here are some RW B777 jocks hanging around maybe they would be able to assist with dimensions even rudementry would help. Thanks all!!!
