Featured Replies

Hi avsims,

Now i am in the final stage of my home cockpit. (After completely finishing i will upload my pic's).

I have problem in the pmdg md-11, i cannot click on the PFD, ND, and ECAS to undock and drag them into their places in the main instrument plate.(only one choice you can undock and drag it).

The problem is i cannot leave this aircraft, its my life in the simulation so i cannot leave it anyway and after nearly i finish i cannot do it.

I see this video http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cwxAcSxtjnI , and i need to know how he do that.

i want to drag the : Captain PFD & ND, the upper & lower ECAS's, Copilot PFD & ND.

Please anyone help me because PMDG MD-11 is my dream simulator aircraft and i cannot fly without she.

Hello friends !!!!

Guyyyyyyyyyyysssssssssssss !!!!!!

They're all camped out over on the "777 relase thread" pummeling their F5 key. No time for second cousins right now. I am watching the video, but I only use FSX in the traditional way. Hopefuly someone'll come along soon with the answer.

P.S. why not subscribe to his channel and ask him directly?

There is an undockable panel zip file in the aircraft folder for each varient of the MD-11 that enables this.

Look in FS9/Aircraft/PMDG MD11

or

FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes/PMDG MD11

Note there are seperate versions for the passenger and freighter versions!!!

If the zip files are not there, be sure you have the latest update installed, and/or look in the panel folder.

BE SURE TO BACK UP BEFORE MAKING CHANGES!!!

Best regards,

Robin.

Hi,

It might not be possible, or you need to add them yourself. Not sure how PMDG do it, but it might use IDs, so you will need to look and see how the VC is done to get an idea for what you need to add to the windows.

Best regards,

Robin.

I do it, i take a copy from the PFD in the cfg & copy it in the panel that prior to the PFD.

& when i open the PFD ND ECAS's which added from PMDG & then open the PFD which i added to the cfg. It yes open but the another PFD stops.

( in short, one of the two PFD operate not both ).

Same thing to the ND, i take a copy from ND & copy its entries in the panel that prior it & and it opens yes but the another ND stops.

Also in short ( not both operate at same time ).

Anyhelp in this problem !!!!
