Vatmap for iPad

Featured Replies

I just thought I'd spread the word on this great app. It's basically like looking at vatview.com except in an ipad app. Not only does it show ATC coverage and pilots flying, but they also just added a charts feature. Just go to the charts tab and look up the ICAO code, and voila. Has them for the whole world, or a lot of it at least. Saves the trouble of going through browsers, charts.aero and all that if you don't have an EFB. I highly recommend it if you've got an iPad!

Agreed I have been using it for a couple of months now.

This is a great App. I have not been flying on Vatsim yet, but use the App a lot!!

It allows for easy access to airport SID, Star, and Nav charts. I just realized it will show weather data too! Very useful !

Just downloaded the App but for some reason the Charts feature is not operational. I enter the ICAO, hit the arrow and there seems to be server activity but no charts show. Have tried Canadian and US ICAO's.

Anyone have an answer for this?

I have the same problem.  There is a news item on their website that says they lost the European charts.   Seems they may have lost them all.
