November 12, 200421 yr Author I think that your best bet would be to contact V-Max Flight Systems ( they are the distributor) by e-mail and see if they can get you a copy. Here's the link to their site:http://www.simpilot.com/Hope that helps,Ed GreenKCLThttp://www.panelshop.com/DEV.jpghttp://www.globecargo.org/images/VAA_Sen_captain.jpg
November 14, 200421 yr I can see your point, but I would rather have a third person than a series of computers doing the job of a human (engineer). It was bad enough losing a navigator. RH
November 14, 200421 yr > An understaning Missus is a blessing for us poor addicts. You bet, and if anyone has one who doesnt understand, just ask her, "Would you rather I was out drinking with the guys?" Bet she says no, and has a different attitude about it... :-beerchug
November 16, 200421 yr What patch are we talking about here for it? I know there is one to make it compliant with '04. Any others though? I never ever checked!
November 16, 200421 yr Thanks for the link :D Quote from MS Flight Team Lead: "We’ve made some guesses"
November 16, 200421 yr Author Yes, there have been a couple for V2, one in June and another in October as I remember. Check the panelshop site ( www.panelshop.com )Ed GreenKCLThttp://www.panelshop.com/DEV.jpghttp://www.globecargo.org/images/VAA_Sen_captain.jpg
November 16, 200421 yr I had purchased the original for FS2000 and then purchased Ready for Pushback - North American Download Version for FS2002 that had just the tape gauges. Ralph Tofflemire is one if not the best as far as customer service goes!!. Ralph is fantastic. The only problem is I will not ever order a thing from VMAX again. VMAX has failed to reply to my emails on numerous occasions and I'm going on 8 months since the last email I sent asking to rovide me a copy of Ready for Pushback - North American Download Version FS 2002. Ralph instructed me to go thru the publisher(VMAX) for that one. Even my intial order was screwed up. I had ordered Ready for Pushback - North American Download Version along with Ready for Pushback - Freighter Pak #1 - Download. VMAX only emailed me Ready for Pushback and did not send the freighter pack. Here is a copy of what they sent minus private info:ORDER COMPLETE!Thank You! Your Order Has Been Submitted. The download links don't work anymore and they failed to reply to my email and phone inquiries to try to re-download my product that I paid for. This is why I never bought the latest version was because of VMAX (Not Ralph). I normaly don't even post in the forums let alone post something negative as this. I just am hoping somebody at VMAX will see this and hopefully turn a negative situation into a positive one :)
November 16, 200421 yr That doesn't work over here I tried. However that is another RfP blessing, since you do looong flights you can have the two worlds. Of course I need several programs to do this: Imhere to tell me if someone contact me in VATSIM. RfPFuel to know if it is time to change the valves and a lot of attention when programming the INS. These procedures and half an hour checking usually are enought.Jos
November 16, 200421 yr I don't recall anyone doing a v2 review, so I don't know how it could be under-rated. Other than FS2004 and the other MS series flight simulators, RFP is the best FS investment I have made. I have learned so much about aircraft systems. It's a great aircraft to fly. You really feel like you are in charge and get a big charge when you take off and land and do all of the other stuff in between to keep her going. I always get prompt responses on their support forum. I just hope that they keep developing new versions. Has anyone tried the new Captain Sim 707? Can it be used like RFP? I see a lot of gauges with it and thus it looks quite similar.RH
