Is anyone else having trouble with the opps system

Featured Replies

For some reason the pmdg opps does not show that I bought the product. Because of this I can't install any liveries or mess with the other bits of the program. I tried uninstalling the 777 and reinstalled. Additionally, I have the ngx as well and it says I have not bought it yet.

Can somebody please help. Thanks Tony Slattery

Hi Tony,

I know Ryan and the team are standing by to assist with issues like this just not here in the forum.

Per Ryan:

If you have an issue with your order such as not receiving an email/license key despite having paid, please SUBMIT A TICKET here:

http://support.precisionmanuals.com

We cannot do billing stuff on the forum - it's too hard to keep track of and we don't think it's a good idea for you all to be posting your order IDs here anyway.

Thank you!

Cheers!

Tony-

If Operations Center does not "see" your install there may be an issue, as the only way you would have Ops Center is to install the 777.  Try this (from Ryan)-

1. Run the uninstaller from Control Panel/Programs and Features.

2. Manually delete the FSX\PMDG\PMDG 777X folder. (backup the shorcuts
file if you want to preserve key commands etc)

3. Manually delete the FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 777-200LR and PMDG
777F folders if they're still there.

4. There is a hidden set of folders that mirror the aircraft folders
above located at C:\Users\(Your User
Name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\SimObjects - you can clear the two
777 folders here out as well. (Note that to see this location you need
the Windows folder option "Show hidden files, folders and drives."
checked ON.)

This should put you back to a completely clean state.

THEN try installing once more.  If this problem persists- a trouble ticket is your solution.  Let us know.

Best-

Carl Avari-Cooper

Make sure to install as administrator too maybe?

Yeah let us know what happens.  I will be buying and installing at midnight eastern so I'm just reading everybody's "bug" reports so I can be ready if I encounter any myself.  So YOUR help is appreciated.

Unfortunately it did not work. The plane installed properly and is completely flyable. However, I still have no access to the liveries. It still thinks I haven't bought the product yet. I guess I am going to have to send in a ticket. Thanks for the help guys.

Tony Slattery

Hi Tony, Sorry for the frustration but I promise you that if you submit a ticket Ryan and the team will get you straightened up ASAP.

Thanks for the patience!
