September 4, 201312 yr Even when handflying you need to be properly set and not play around at the last minute with things like flaps settings / speed or the like. one needs to respect the size of the AC and be ahead of the situation you are in . If you are hand flying the thing just on final if not set properly next thing you know this plane drops your speed way faster than you can recover and you slam or stall .....
