How to dim separated standby instruments?

Finally got my download and finished my first trial flight.  Thank you for the hard work, PMDG, it does indeed feel like you've developed something truly special (as we all expected from images and videos).

Here is a very stupid question, since I know I recall seeing it very recently in a beta demo video...nor can find it explicitly in the FCOM.  Perhaps it's the late hour.

How can you dim the separated 3 standby instruments? (not the ISFD)

Thanks!

Or, I suppose I'm getting conflicting information that there is supposed to be a diode automatic dimmer only.

Sorry to bump the subject, but I know this has gotten lost in all of the multiple subject threads.

I know this has to be simple and driving me nuts :)

Thanks!

Have you tried the master dim knob?

Have you tried the master dim knob?

Yes, I have.  It adjusts all other displays.

(I suppose it truly is only controlled by an ambient light dimmer)

I haven't really stabbed around enough to look for where this might be adjusted (I haven't flown the 3-spot very much yet).  Perhaps check the FCOMs.

The master dim knob has a button in the center of it that needs to be pressed in order to use individual dim knobs.

EDIT: Never mind, I've missed Scandinavian's response.

First place I stopped ;)

It's nice and vague. One sentence about an ambient sensor that controls a few panels. But nothing explicit like the ISFD.
