September 4, 201312 yr I was doing the tutorial flight in this fantastic new plane, and once I got to cruise altitude, I went out to go to McDonald's. (fyi...Big Mac, Fries, Medium Coke) When I came back, the A/P and both A/T's were still engaged and the plane was still using full vertical and lateral autoflight, but the Warning/Caution lights were lit up. I looked at my EICAS and it read "Pilot Response" in both yellow and red. I disengaged and re-engaged the autopilot, it cleared the caution and warning. Then, about 15 minutes later it popped up again. So I did the disengage/re-engage, and it cleared the caution again. Can anyone explain what is doing this? September 4, 201312 yr You need to respond in some way so the plane knows you are there. Just click a button or move the yoke every now and then. You can disable this in the PMDG options
September 4, 201312 yr check the 777 manual. You will find every information you need (i tell you by not even looking into it but this is PMDG so you can expect it to be covered by the manual). Tebin Ulrich
September 4, 201312 yr Commercial Member It is real world option to monitor pilot inputs, if no inputs are detected are 30 minutes it will alert the pilots to avoid anyone falling asleep. This forum is going to become a nightmare over the next few weeks. Read the documentation guys, or at least check the forum for duplicate posts.. Rob Prest

September 4, 201312 yr Love to see people fall for this feature! Would've probably fallen for it too if I hadn't seen it in a video before. Hope you didn't spill your Coke over the warning. Returning to the flight deck with Master Caution on is not good. AF 447 Captain would concur...
