September 4, 201312 yr As I was on final approach into Islamabad earlier, I disconnected the autopilot by pressing the AP Disconnect bar. The problem (or is it a problem?) that I'm having is - the AP disconnect alert sound will stay on until I re-engage the autopilot. I have maybe missed something in the manuals?

September 4, 201312 yr Instead of using the Disconnect Bar use the soft disco on the MCP click spot or map to a button. Two pushes will cancel AP & siren. Ensure resettable siren is selected in PMDG OPTIONS in CDU. Enjoy! Best- Carl Avari-Cooper
