Hi,

 

I do an autoland and it works properly except after I touch down it doesn't go straight on the runway it turns and swerves, plz help it makes landing a disaster

That is correct. 

 

The NGX in usual configurations only has a dualchannel autopilot and it does not provide rudder control upon landing (i.e. Rollout mode).

 

You need to be ready for this especially in crosswind conditions.

 

However in sim, you don't need to pay couple hundred thousand dollars to change this - you can set the airplane up with triple channel autoland option via MCDU. Then it will track the centerline.

Not real..if you are using a "fail operational" configuration you got rudder control upon landing (and you can also have a single engine autoland)


 


Advice: Manuals are your best friends (especially) FCTM...

Yes real. Fail operational is not a usual configuration for the NG (in real world), the percentage of the planes that have this option is in single digits.

 

Anyway it is an option - thanks for reminder about how it is called, I couldn't remember. 

So look for "fail operational" in your equipment options.
