PFPX AND TOPCAT ON TABLETS

Featured Replies

Hi everyone while wating for fuel load at LFBO for a flight to SBGL i thought maybe i could share you something cool that came in my bind :)

How about if we had the pfpx and topcat on our tablets.? You think it is possible at least somethink equivalant on tablets that allows us to follow our long flight plan, winds etc. I own the topcat on my pc but still no update for the pmdg t7.

Thanks for giving me your thougts...

I tried installing PFPX on my Surface Pro, but I get an error at start up, so it's back on my desktop PC.  I made the developer aware of it.  On my tablet I can access navigraph Cloud Charts, hopefully PFPX soon, OneNote for any printouts, etc.

It's like simulating an EFB.

I'm sure the developers will make tablets progressively more useful as part of our sim experience.

Not to be off-putting, but seeing that PMDG didn't create these products, wouldn't it be better to discuss it over in FlightSimSoft's forums?

Kyle, sorry if this is a-bit-off-topic. Since I took very serious the B777+PFPX combination (without forget fun, of course..), could you help me with ETOPS planning? I'm unable to do long hauls since I can't deal with ETOPS process within PFPX and therefore and can't get the load fuel values and so on. I'm suscribed to your youtube channel, so a tuto video would be more than welcome. Have nice weekend ;)

Right - I'm not saying that you can't post here...I'm just saying it would be more worthwhile to post over there.

After all, I'm not going to walk into FNAC and tell them that I wish the iPhone came in red.  True, they sell the thing, which means they work with it, but the real person I should be talking to is Apple.  That's all I'm saying.

It's a nice wish to express here, since many of us will be using these programs, but if you're looking for action on your wish, this isn't the place, really...

I'll look into it.  I'm still trying to get a firm grasp on the software before I put myself on a public stage like that.  I've had enough disasters in my past life as an apps trainer teaching before I was fully comfortable to do it on a stage where I'm not being paid

Hopefully soon, though.
