I get a OOM on my flight from EDDF to OMDB just on FAF. I have a I7 with 16 GB RAM a new machine with newest NVidea crads and updated drivers.

 

Please help.

You can use 12 out of your 16GB for something different. FSX can handle only up to 4GB, provided it is an x64 OS (unter 32bit OS, it is even less). Apart from that, I suggest you read the introduction document to the PMDG 777. OOM is explained and tips are given there.

Please feel free to have a look at the 777 introduction manual at p.21

OOM's and how to provent them are thoroughly discussed there.

Be advised though - even if all precautions are taken seriously, OOM's may still appear because FSX is tied to its 32bit architecture.

Also browse the internet for OOM+FSX or VAS+OOM+FSX and stuff like that.
