FSBuild and T7

Featured Replies

When you create a flight plan with FSBuild in the 737 when I press the CO ROUTE on the FMC it brings up all the flight plans created with FSBuild. In the 3T I can;t do that despite the fact that in the FSBuild I have selected the PMDG 777 for the plans to be exported. I can only put them manually in the CO ROUTE. Is that the case? or I am doing something wrong..

The FMS filters the list based on values in ORIG and DEST. Keep those empty and you should see the entire list after pressing ROUTE REQUEST

This is assuming the proper export directory, did you confirm the plan is there? FSBuild can be challenging to some to get the directory correct. :-)

Although the PMDG 777 is shown on the Export to.. list it is not shown when you open  Options on the left hand side.

On RTE page 1 where the origin and destination ICAO codes are entered, if you leave them blank and request route the FMS will display all route files in the appropriate folder. If you put a value in the origin for example then it will only display routes beginning at the origin, which is why it is looking for the icao codes in the filename.

I might be wrong because I am not near my FSX Pc at the moment, but isn't the PMDG 777 setting on FSBuild an old setting. I think you export it the same as the NGX. I think they all read from the same flightplan folder. Like I said I could be completely wrong but it might be worth giving it a try.

You need to export it for the 737, the 777 is an old setting. Doesn't work.

Make sure you export to the same folder as the 737NG!

Hope this helps!
