Out of interest, is it possible to buy the PMDG 777 in GBP as a currency option at download?

Or would it be better to wait until Aerosoft get it and sell it in GBP?

Thanks

Alex Jones

You can get it through PayPal and they convert it to GBP. I got it for £59.71.

Alex,

I paid via Credit Card and it was only £62. My advice get it know you won't look back and its worth the money.

I purchased it Wednesday morning and had no issues with paying / downloading or installing.

Thanks for this, the only reason I have not bought it yet is I am waiting till I know I will have the time to actually fly her, although I hopefully will buy her tomorrow.

If it turns out you'd rather not wait for a UK supplier, I'd suggest paypal, as they will take from it your UK bank account in sterling. If you pay in dollars by credit card either with PayPal or most credit card provider, you get stung for another 2% to 5% for foreign currency conversion. At least with PayPal bank account debit you know exactly how much your paying upfront.

Paid for mine with my visa debit card, came out at £59 something its worth every penny! :-)

Paypal will charge you (indirectly) for the dollar to pound conversion just as a credit or debit card will.  When they let you select the amount in pounds that's at their conversion rate which will be in their favour.  Best to check who gives you the best rate (or the lowest amount in pounds) before clicking the confirmation button.

I must have just pipped a slightly more favourable exchange rate as PayPal took £57.61 from me, for the 777.      This was with Debit Card payment though (don't know if that makes a difference as compared to Credit Card).
