FSX goes to white screen

Featured Replies

I'm finding this as I alt-tab around, going on the internet or doing different things on my computer, when I come back to FSX, it'll be a white screen and non-responsive.  Never seen this before until the 777.  Any ideas?

It doesn't do it consistently, but it's ended a few flights prematurely now.

You're saying you use full-screen and alt+tab out of FSX? Fastest way to kill FSX. Known bug, not fixable. Run in a window if you must task switch.

Robin.

I had a similar problem so uninstalled my Realtek sound drivers and since then it worked fine, up till now and I have completed two or three 8 hour flights. I noticed also before I uninstalled the Realtek sound drivers a really faint 'popping' sound every 30 seconds or so.

Glenn
