Key to GPS in pmdg 737

Featured Replies

I found a sim changing tweak today for my 737 Ngx. I had been getting 8-15 fps in the vc, but after changing my performance settings in the fms to 8 down from 15 I'm staying around 28-30!! I am very thankful the new 777 came out because the tweaked over there gave me the idea. Thanks guys.

Glad you figured that out from read the forum, but you could have saved yourself all the time you spent getting low FPS in the NGX if you had read the Introduction Manual, specifically page 76 titled Performance Options where it shows how you can lower those values to gain more FPS.

Maybe some of the mods could correct the typo in the thread title - I guess it should read FPS rather than GPS. I was a bit irritated by that and ahd to read the post twice to understand the title .

Sorry for the autocorrect on my title. I did read the manual but I just set one side to 8 not both vc and 2d options. I didn't realize I had to adjust both down for better frames.

Thanks
