September 11, 201312 yr Hi All 777 Pilots, After a couple of test flights here are my observations, imressions on the VNAV and Go-Around behaviour of this beauty. My long experience of FS flying shows that these two are the real test of any sophisticated addon in the FS world. 1. VNAV. Generally acceptable but after the first power reduction the A/T reverts to HOLD mode before reaching flight idle. This results in a gross speed oveshoot. The throttles have to be retarted manually. For those who selected NEVER for the joystick control the A/T have to be disengaged first.(Not realistic). 2.GO-AROUND. During an automatic go around the A/T modulates power aggressively, the aircraft oscillates in pitch. After gradual increase of command speed (as per the manual) up to the min. clean and cleaning up the plane, at level off the speed bug jumps to 250 KIAS. Per the manual it should not. The A/T should maintain selected speed. Overall, the NGX go-around behavior is much more stable, and realistic. Finally a minor thing: during the engine startup sequence my engine accelerates to idle rpm, the EGT drops back to 390C and then the indication freezes. No furthet EGT or N1 change until the first throttle movement or until the second engine is started. Then the ITT jumps back to about 435C. Anyway, congratulations PMDG for this remarkable product. I'm sure you will follow up the T7 and provide us with gardual upgrades, patches and fine-tuning by PMDG standards. Cheers, b Tamas Kovacsics "Fun and satisfaction both in real world and sim aviation"

Had the same behavior: the A/T starts osculating the thrust shortly after G/A is selected and the RPM increases but never reaches the G/A limit. Some details of the procedure: G/A altitude was presented, the flaps were selected 15, the gear was selected up, speed bug gradually increased... Any beta testers to confirm? I've sent Ryan a saved flight to try so that he can hopefully reproduce it. Regards Howard H D Isaacs
September 12, 201312 yr Author Mmartinov: At the first push of the GA button only partial power is applied just to maintain a 2000FPM climb. So, the power will not reach max GA limit. It is a normal and realistic behaviour.(If you need max. GA power push the GA button a second time.) The greater problem is the power fluctuation and the pitch oscillation plus the incorrect speed bug logic. DescendDescend: Many thanks for your attention.
