September 11, 201312 yr I've finally got a chance to fly this plane, all I can say is wow. Interesting problem though, I got that master caution bug when starting the second engine, but I did not use the C/D panel state. In fact the first thing I did with the plane was to load in the default state with engines running, and shut everything down by following the FCOM procedures through the Securing procedure. I saved a panel state, and set that as the startup state and always start from that. The strangest part of it is in the multiple flights I've done, it has only happened a couple times, and most recently I was accidentally able to make it go away because I didn't turn on the center fuel pumps before starting, and got an actual master caution and EICAS caution for that after the start was complete. When I clicked the caution button, it extingushed, however later in the flight the crew response system activated and since then the caution will not extinguish. Steve Caffey

September 11, 201312 yr +1: Resetting the Master Caution does not qualify for that interaction - it takes a different action of some kind to accomplish that. What happened to AVSIM
