September 16, 201312 yr Author Commercial Member The thing is that i expect to see for instance 12.4 kgs remaining fuel at destination in stead i am reading 20.6, and that is totally wrong. How so? Did you have tail winds/stronger than forecast tailwinds? Best regards, Robin.
September 17, 201312 yr I have a ticket with PMDG for this issue of fuel at destination being incorrect until your about to land. Look at the known issues thread and they are still investigating the issue. It seems to only effect certain people though which is why its so hard to track down. Sean Green
September 17, 201312 yr Hi robin, Regarding my flight i was referring to i just landed after 18.35H and my pfpx calculation estimated fuel on destination almost 12.8 to be exact and i landed with 19.6 flight was from KLAX-FQMA. Yes, i had some tail wings along the way but only after crossing to the South, they came on strong, apart from that i had fair to light wings all the way. I used opsufsx as wx enchainment and it looked ok. I start thinking is the fuel parameters of the aircraft itself build on wright, to have the correct fuel flow and fuel consumption? if we say that the aircraft burns at list 8000kg/h than my block fuel should be something like 144000 kg at list, instead i burned 133644 kg actual with a block fuel calculated from PFPX at 153824 kg. What is wrong with these figures! If we say that the aircraft profiles are correct what am i doing wrong? My regards Giorgos
