  1. So Stephen is there an option you guys build a similar wx engine? Now i have to buy ASN too? That wasn't what i had in mind! Thanks
  2. Great NEWS! It was about time for someone to take action over the forums behaviour! Anticipation is getting stronger by the day
  3. Hi again! Its been a wail since my last post, but i was busy doing test flight with T7. I even performed an 11k miles flight from SECL to ZBAA. I will post my results on fuel BIAS changes in PFPX aircraft performance page. Actual i have 2 modified and tested model so here it goes: a. Climb bias 100.0%, cruise bias 100.0%, descent bias 100.0%, drag 99.4% b. Climb bias 100.0%, cruise bias 99.4%, descent bias 100.0%, drag 99.4% Both are working fine tested in all levels and various trip ranges, even more than 10000 nm. I need to clear out that the fist is for Passenger Aircraft and the second Cargo. I used for all my testing OPUSFSX wx, some file used for inserted wx into FMC. Test those figures in PFPX and see if meets your preferences ! I reached almost 95% the PMDGS fuel burn. My regards Heron
  4. Hi, I will try to evaluate performance within the pfpx when flying in order to fix BIAS and let you know of my results. Started a new flight with 9000nm range for testing. Can someone tell me if the evaluation is done only at specific altitude or need to check more than one! Thanks!
  5. Hi, I did some testing over the past days and i came up quit close to the figures that PFPX is calculating! I need to say that i changed my 777 template with bias of 100%, the other is totally wrong. The thing is that when you plan a flight the program used for that should plan with forecasts winds aloft in order to much. In FMC i used both the file created from OPUSFSX & and the one that PFPX is creating now and can be exported to PMDG wx. Lastly i entered the wings manually from the wings information provided from PFPX briefing, i and up very close to the calculations with the third option. The problem is the wind OBS from PFPX is some times old and cant much the winds that wx engines provides such us OPUS. Currently i perform a flight using winds from opus text file and i noticed that the PFPXs wind information is OBS 071200 very old in terms of my flight with DEP time 2100z. prediction over destination from pfpx was 9.4 tones and mine from fmc 12.2 tones and i believe that this is due to weather OBS. Kindly correct me if i'm wrong! Thanks Thats good to know! The problem is PFPX not the profiles but the winds that is used for calculations! Thanks mate for the info!
  6. i will try to do what you told me and i will post the results! If anyone else has i new or better idea kindly post it over and lets hope that something will come up! Thanks
  7. The weather source as i read in forum is noaa the same as opusfsx uses! so as far as weather concerne we are covered!!! :excl: As for data input in fmc i use the exact fugures used in pfpx.... so we are done with that too!!! if the above are correct then i have to check pfpx parameters over the choosen template i try to much the pmdgs . How i will do that any ideas?
  8. Thanks for the update! Does anyone knows what PMDG says about fuel burn of the aircraft? Is it near to the actual factory figures? So you are saying that PFPX and 777 calculations are correct, so i need to check the weight in pfpx. I need to tell that iam useing one of the templates stored in the PFPX program.?!
  9. Gents, Thank you all for your interest to solve once again advance and complicated issue with our so called favor addon. Still even with my last flight i arrived with far more fuel than i should. Basically i know that a 777 burns almost 8000 kg per hour per engine, and i had something like 7000kg, no realistic. If the pfpx calculates fuel at list with 90 - 95% realism why the number cant much? I am searching the net for a solution! Even with my 9350mn flight i end up with more fuel than i should. If let say that PMDG is more accurate than PFPX, what i am missing and i end up with wrong calculations over fuel! Can someone help me out and solve that mind trapping issue? Giorgos
  10. Hi, Yesterday i finished a 5536nm flight and the difference between PFPX and actual fuel burn was almost 6.5 tones less so i found my shelf limited by landing weight at least 4 tones. I use the OPUSFSX for wx and i load the wind aloft that this engine produces. still can figure out what is going on. How can i match PFPX with PMDG777. Currently i flying a 6350nm flight following the re-dispatch procedure to see what is going on. Does anyone figured out what must be done?
  11. Ok i understand that but what is going on with PMDG! fuel scalar is based on a real operator (DELTA) or the manufacturer (BOEING). Did they modified and burn less thun it should?
  12. Hi, I was wondering if the fuel scalar in aircrafts cfg is accurate or needs to be modified, thus i have grate differences between PFPX landing fuel and the aircraft itshelf. Regards Giorgos
  13. Hi robin, Regarding my flight i was referring to i just landed after 18.35H and my pfpx calculation estimated fuel on destination almost 12.8 to be exact and i landed with 19.6 flight was from KLAX-FQMA. Yes, i had some tail wings along the way but only after crossing to the South, they came on strong, apart from that i had fair to light wings all the way. I used opsufsx as wx enchainment and it looked ok. I start thinking is the fuel parameters of the aircraft itself build on wright, to have the correct fuel flow and fuel consumption? if we say that the aircraft burns at list 8000kg/h than my block fuel should be something like 144000 kg at list, instead i burned 133644 kg actual with a block fuel calculated from PFPX at 153824 kg. What is wrong with these figures! If we say that the aircraft profiles are correct what am i doing wrong? My regards Giorgos
  14. Hi, I need to ask if someone has the same problem as i experience with ultra long haul flights, with the remaining fuel at destination. i know that all the calculation through the pfpx are +/- 5% wright! I check with an external client from FSA and the results were astonishing, with a difference of approximately 234 kgs from PFPX. The thing is that i expect to see for instance 12.4 kgs remaining fuel at destination in stead i am reading 20.6, and that is totally wrong. I tried to add the wings at every waypoint and had the same results. Any ideas on how to fix that? My regards Giorgos
