November 22, 200421 yr Try here, very easy program to use, but make sure you know what it is you are changing!!http://www.simradar.com/File/Developer_Tools/
November 22, 200421 yr Well I gave the version 10 a try with my IFDG and must say it flies exceptionally well and very smooth overall. I am not a big Airbus fan but this is a keeper. Thanks Pedro http://www.mainzelahr.de/smile/medien/five.gif
November 22, 200421 yr It is only the CFM that has the EGT overtemp readings and thus needs the airfile tweak, the IAE is fine.I have to say I think this update of the FDE is very very good and on a par with Eugene Schneider's FDEs for the A319 and A321. However unlike the the A319/A321 I still have to put in the trim manually at -2.0 UP for takeoff in order to hold V2+10 sensibly and not shoot through. But that's not a problem, just an observation.
November 22, 200421 yr Yes it does seem good, I followed a post of yours from here to the BA Virtual forum, concerning the gauge02=pss-A320!eicam_upperrv blah blah = 1 for IAE and 2 for CFM.Is that likely to fix it or do I need to do the AirEd alteration to the .air file as well/instead of?By the way, thanks for all the informative posts about the place, as I have been getting into the A320 since PSS had a sale, I've found them very informative. You would recommend the alternate FDE's for the 319 and the 321 as alternative to which? IFDG or PSS or both? Also bought the A340, although haven't got into that so much, never have 8 hours at a sitting and anyway, it's the take-off's and landings which are the fun!
November 23, 200421 yr Hmmm yes but there is a problem, AirEd is showing the data on line 540 as some weird hexadecimal edit only s**t, for which I can't decode the existing data using a hex to decimal converterThat being so, I can't see which bits to change.
