New unusual simulation idea

Featured Replies

Here's a thought for DCS, PMDG, or Milviz - any others who are up to it as well, but Milviz and DCS would rock the show.

USAF KC-135R Stratotanker or KC-10A Extender - you don't get to fly it, you get to ride in it as the boom operator, refueling God knows what.  You brief, mount up, takeoff, rendezvous and refuel, and land.  You can also see the external models as you are pumpin' gas.

How about an E-3A Sentry AWACS bird, or an EC-135 Rivet Joint or JSTARS role - again, you don't fly it (you can see an external model, same as above), but with a semi-accurate console and role on the aircrew.  You're not gonna get most of the RL JSTARS or Rivet Joint info, it's classified.  But to direct theatre operations and air operations, that would be really cool, really something different!

Just an idea.

Kattz out.

But how many people want to do that?

I like the idea too....Although i would prefer to be able to do both. Switch between boom op/console view and cockpit.

If you've never done it, you've no idea what you're missing...
