September 22, 201312 yr How can I insert this coordinations into PFPX as an waypoint? 6330N 9000W Cheers, Timm Rehberg
September 22, 201312 yr 5820N and so on your cord listed would be 6390N I haven't used PFPX, getting it next week but all other programs I use take it like that above -Raven HarrisIntel i7 980X @ 4.43GHz | ASUS Rampage III | Corsair 6GB DDR3 2000MHz | 3 EVGA GTX280 | Corsair 1200 Watt | Intel 510 SSD (RAID 0)PMDG - 747-400/8iF | MD11/F | BAe J41 | 737NG 6/7/8/9 Hope ER/BBJ|777LR/FFlight1- Cessna Mustang
September 22, 201312 yr Author When I insert this whole route into PFPX (KSFO-OMDB) it will delete all coordinations. 5900N 10000W is easy: 5910N but what about 6330N 9000W ??? September 22, 201312 yr LOL I'm flying the same route now, UAE226! I just entered 6390N (my next waypoint) and all is good! -Raven HarrisIntel i7 980X @ 4.43GHz | ASUS Rampage III | Corsair 6GB DDR3 2000MHz | 3 EVGA GTX280 | Corsair 1200 Watt | Intel 510 SSD (RAID 0)PMDG - 747-400/8iF | MD11/F | BAe J41 | 737NG 6/7/8/9 Hope ER/BBJ|777LR/FFlight1- Cessna Mustang

PFPX will then reformat them how it wants, but won't remove them. So, your route I would enter as: SHOR5 SAC J32 BAM BOI YQL J540 YVC 5900N10000W 6330N9000W 6530N8000W 6700N7000W CANEL 6800N6000W 6800N5000W 6700N4000W 6600N3000W 6500N2000W 6400N1000W VALDI L621 ZOL L621 ROE N983 ELPOL N195 XIMBA M860 ROLKA M860 INROG M860 KIV M860 KUGOS UW704 CRM UM688 ERN UM688 NINVA UM688 SIDAD UP975 SESRA M677 RABAP UM677 DEGSO L308 DESDI Cory Baxes
September 23, 201312 yr How can I insert this coordinations into PFPX as an waypoint? 6330N 9000W Not sure about PFPX, but if you were entering it in the 777 directly it would be N6330.0W09000.0 exactly like that, you need all the digits even if they're zeros, and no spaces. If it were 6300N 9000W you could just enter N63W090, or I think 6390N (those trip me up, I can never remember the format for N vs S, E vs W, 2 vs 3 digit longitude) Steve Caffey

N6330.0W09000.0 Things to note: W900 isn't a place. E/W goes up to 180 and then loops back on itself at the dateline. E and W latitude needs 3 digits for the degree. W001 W010 W100 up to W180. N/S goes first. W/E breaks the digits. Here's a fun one N6332.1W09000.0 is the same as 63°32.1N 090W The FMS needs ALL the digits. You can't do N6332.1W090 because the FMS needs the rest of the 00.0 to balance the 32.1 bit. You can use the N63°30.0W090° to show up a co-ordinate in google earth too (green arrow) https://maps.google.com.au/maps?safe=off&q=63%C2%B030.0%2C%20-090&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&sa=N&tab=wl "Real" Co-ordinate 63°30.0N 090°W "Flightaware" co-ordinate 6330N 9000W "ATS Flight Plan" Co-Ordinate 6330N09000W "FMC" Co-Ordinate = N6330.0W09000.0 (only one option available) 6390N isn't the same place. 6390N is located at N63°, W090° N6300.0W09000.0 is located 30 nautical miles south of N6330.0W09000.0 Check out searching "N63°30.0, W090° to N63°,W090°" in maps.google.com Trent Hopkinson, 2015 Crewmember of www.mangrove.com.au WorldFlight sim Youtube channel www.youtube.com/user/musicalaviator
