Great shots Pete.

Mind if I ask why everybody has a fascination with Dubai and Emirates Airlines?  Most flights I see on the avsim boards are going here and I'm not sure if I'm missing something.

I think Kyle questioned it too in his tutorial video and I was wondering myself.

Once again beautiful shots.

Maybe because Emirates is the largest 777 operator and since Emirates services most of the major markets all over the globe, it never looks out of place regardless of the scenery you have in the background?

And Peter, fantastic shots ! Hope you enjoyed it.

Notwithstanding the excellent rendition of the popular Flytampa scenery, which includes a wide swath of the surrounding city, something not included in most payware airports, Dubai is a great far away location well suited for the mission of the 777LR: super long haul flights.   Also, it's an up and coming new destination for many airlines, folks are curious, and it's something new.  It's a nice change of pace from the usual United States, Asia, or European hubs most people have flown to.

I also equate the new found fascination with the airport with the attention the real destination is receiving as it is one of the fastest growing hubs out there.   Kudos to Flytampa, when this scenery was first released I couldn't understand the choice, but with the PMDG 777 release it all makes sense now.  George Grimshaw must have known!
