Bought "Wings of Power", and WOW!

I read that they modeled the DC-3 with floats that used to fly out of Moosehead lake in Maine. But then they went on to say that the floats had actually been taken off the plane and that it had been sold or something. Too bad, I used to like to see that plane and airshows and somesuch. I had seen it a few times and then was surprised when, driving past Moosehead lake, there it was :-)Oh well, thanks to MAAM for preserving it virtually.Thomas

I can confirm that the package is available at CompUSA for 20 bucks and it is a STEAL that that price or twice the price. ELEVEN aircraft and the ones I've flown so far (4) are really VERY nice.Jim

Wildfire MAAM is another product :)Yeah I have enjoyed every single one so far. And the bonus B29 nightbomber :)

Anybody bounced yet? Jerrycwo4

I'd like to know what CompUSA store you're shopping at. I wasted my time going over there (Troy, Michigan) to find out the same old price were still in effect, $30. The sales person even checked the price on the store computer and didn't say I just missed the sale either. I know I should have called first but I figured a national chain would have consistent prices.

** is no doubt one of the best (and best kept secret) FS2004 bargains of the year. After I read the reviews I ran out to my nearest EB Games and bought their last copy for $30. Every aircraft and panel adheres to a high level of quality. My only nit is that some of the included checklists are a little generic and at times inaccurate, but that hasn't spoiled my fun. Way to go, Shockwave!!-- Walt

Looks like CompUSA fed you a line of BS.It was on sale at my CompUSA out here in CA VERY recently, this past week IIRC.

Shane: I agree with you 200%!!! This is a great package for the price; never bought a Shockwave product before but I'm impressed with this one.I found the Lancaster BIII the easiest to get off the ground and fly without referring to the manual and the AR 234 Blitz jet was responsive if you provided sufficient runway. The older jets just did not spool-up too rapidly (including this one!). For most of the other aircraft a visit to manual will help enormously especially to determine flap, throttle, and manifold settings.Good tech support from Shockwave and there are Forums on their web site also.-GeorgeM at 5B6
