October 6, 201312 yr Bought Traffic 360 on the $8 sale. Night time is a bit of an issue now. Is this norm and how they are suppose to look?
October 6, 201312 yr Looks like someone forgot to switch off the landing lights ! Honestly, I have no idea, but give me a few hours, I will install Traffic 360 as soon as I'm done with my university stuff and see if I have the issue too. I should have done that earlier already, but as I had some things to learn (and I needed MTX still active yesterday for a piece of work I'm trying to do) I couldn't yet. Florian
October 6, 201312 yr Wow! How did you get those lights? Here are some images I did tonight with Traffic 360 AI lights at KSFO:
October 6, 201312 yr If you have REX, you should be able to change the type of landing lights in it's texture section. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
October 6, 201312 yr Just checked myself - aircraft that are parked don't have their lights illuminate the whole place. It rather looks like in robains's shots. Florian
October 6, 201312 yr Is this norm and how they are suppose to look? If you have REX, try selecting these alternate lights: Rob
October 6, 201312 yr Author Thanks for suggestion but I don't have REX. What file does REX alter, perhaps I could try changing it manually?
October 6, 201312 yr spotlight.bmp in the main texture directtory. There is a replacement in the library here called xenon3.zip, but there are many more out there. -Anthony Young- "For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return." - Leonardo da Vinci
October 8, 201312 yr Author I figured out its related to zoom levels. If I go to VC and zoom in to 3.00, then look 360 degrees around the VC, then go back to my normal .40 zoom, I don't see these super bright landing lights. When I zoom in to the ai bright landing light, the light goes out but they are on and bright when FSX loads.
