Which one is true (FS2crw or Aerosoft)

Featured Replies

First of all, i say that, this is wonderful add-on. As the same time, i wonder that, which check-list is true for Airbus A320 - 321 The FS2Crew check-list or Aerosoft check-list? ( I mean, which one is closer to real checklist) I ask that, beceause i like Aerosoft Airbus Extended checklist and FO similation too.

Best regards.

Every airline has it's own checklist... so there is no wrong one!!

FS2Crew uses the latest Checklist and SOPs from direct from Airbus.  I'm not sure what Aerosoft is using.

Thing to note is that Checklists and SOPs can change and evolve, and airlines may modify them and use their own procedures.

So there's no real right or wrong.

Thanks for your answers.

The Aerosoft options include a switch for an active/inactive F/O:

From my POV, the inactive F/O leaves too many tasks with the Captain (PF) as compared to CRM/CCC, while the active F/O takes too many tasks away from him.

Looks like Aerosoft did that purposely to give you the opportunity ...

- either to operate the aircraft on your own with the F/O just assisting with the checklists

- or to keep you concentrate on the flight controls and the flight plan with the F/O performing the rest of the flightdeck tasks.

To mimic RW operation, FS2Crew looks best to me. But I'd use the other options occasionally, for example to focus on flying SIDs, STARs, working ATC and stuff.
