October 11, 201312 yr PMDG T7 does not keep cruise altitude and because it has problems with trim (in vnav mode). For example, if I cruise with FL 330, it always goes up and down between FL340 and FL320 giving permanent altitude warnings. This trim problem is also observable during descent and climb (nose goes up and down) but it is less obvious. I have made several tests and with dx9 this does not happen. Even when I have created a flight from dx10 and later reload it with dx9 the failure is gone. And vice versa, when I created a flight with dx9 and reload that flight with dx10 this fault comes again. Any ideas whats going on? Harry - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).

October 12, 201312 yr Author Just found the culprit. I am using two different fsx.cfg files in parallel. One for dx10 the other for dx9. Comparing them line by line, I realized that in the fsx.cfg which I used for dx 10 under [realism ] ... AutoTrim=True has to be set to AutoTrim=False. Have no idea how this wrong setting had happened because this cannot be changed by UI. Anyway, problem is solved!
