Memory usage is not an indicator of performance.

 

If it is slower, look at your graphics config, and general FSX settings. Are you running higher settings now than you did on your old computer?

Just about identical and depending on gate and weather conditions, KDFW isn't that bad. What I was trying to point out was all the hubbub on the forums about CYVR and yet KDFW by the same dev, doesn't get a mention. Also there was the complaining about the OOMs which does have to do with memory, is roughly the same at both airports on my rig.

 

I use the BP=0 tweak, as I did on my last build and all in all I'm not complaining. I do however find these claims of smooth as butter and "constant" high frame rates while loaded with all these high end Scenery add ons along with a a/c such as the T7 with sliders maxed out etc, etc.
