October 14, 201312 yr Although thought not to be so glamorous as the Passenger sector of flying, being a cargo flyer has more variety in both cargo and destinations. So it be that this flight from Montreal Canada to Portland Oregon was no exception. Except today we were carrying some very special livestock. Portland Wildlife Safari Park was the destination of today's guests. 2 female 24foot Pythons, 3 Lion cubs, and 4 Sea Otters. (no twins). Also with them to take care in flight was Janet and Corrine from the Portland Park. So it was a change to have the coffee made for us.. You catch us on the last leg just before the descent overflying Hamilton Montana: On the descent just coming out of the cloud is the city of Walla Walla. (Walla be blowed) A good view of Hood River in it's namesake, the Hood river valley: Gear down above Parrett Mountain: On final into Portland: Safely down without disturbing the wildlife I hope: Ground equipment up and running brings us to the end of this flight: James (jaydor) "Let me X-Plane where I fly in 2020"
October 14, 201312 yr Neat. The story goes a long way with the imagination, too. We have a full scale LJ45 sim and some times we will create a simple scenario of a passenger list and how it fits into the flight (trip details, why and where, etc.).
