I don't think DX11 isn't, in and of itself,  the key attraction of P3Dv2.  Its the promise of offloading some of the work onto the video card to make things more efficient.  It will look better, hopefully because there is more performance overhead for you to run a higher IQ than you are currently running.  Hopefully.  So one can say well, big deal, but that actually is kind of a big deal, in a relative sense.

I think there's quite a bit of confusion here, although that's probably due to my, less than clear, thread title. 

 

I wasn't specifically targeting FSX when I asked what people would like to see in their FS. I was actually asking what people would like to see "if something 'new' was to come along". So if FSXI (or the equivalent) was in production, what one feature (visuals, performance, etc) would be most important to you.

 

Obviously none of this really matters, after all, this thread is just a bit of fun.  ^_^ 

 

    

I finally have stability and the addons I need.

 

What is missing is smoothness everywhere.

 

The two things I would love to add to my FSX are, FU 3 VC rain effects and their ATC system. It was immersive!

For me, better ground graphics for the feeling to fly over a well known area and a real good ATC Software.
