December 5, 200421 yr I never played with FS Skyworld landing lights. The only weird lights that I see above on your photo are aircraft's landing lights. But in my opinion runway/taxi lights offered by FS Skyworld are far superior over default.Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2 Michael J.
December 5, 200421 yr Author I forgot to mention in my first post that the problem is with the way the landing and taxi lights are displayed within FS9 but it also affects, i.e. the apron lamps, on some sceneries. I Regards, Hugo Bravo LPPT
December 5, 200421 yr im no expert but it looks to me like what is supposed to be your halo.bmp texture is instead a bitmap from inside the FS9>effects>texture folder called "fx_2.bmp"i would 1)check the halo.bmp in the Fs9>textures folder to see if it is correct (should look like halos, not stars). if it IS correct, then one of the add-on programs you installed is pointing to the wrong bitmap for the halo.good luck.
December 5, 200421 yr Author Thank you for your help.I have only one halo.bmp inside my textures folder and it looks like this (please check the screenshot).I don Regards, Hugo Bravo LPPT
December 6, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi, This problem is the spotlight.bmp, restore the original fs2004 one in cd 2 MSGAME3.CAB, copy to fs2004textureMany aircraft have based the landing light with the default fs2004 intense light cone which cause trouble with fsw one."I forgot to mention in my first post that the problem is with the way the landing and taxi lights are displayed within FS9 but it also affects, i.e. the apron lamps, on some sceneries. I Kind RegardsChris Willis
December 6, 200421 yr Author Thank you for your help Chris.I am going to restore the spotlight.bmp file from the FS9 CD. Should I expect problems again if I decide to use one of the great landing lights set available with FSW? Maybe with just some aircraft,i.e. SSWs A310?I will certainly try one of the runway lights sets available with FSW after I sort this problem. ;-)I Regards, Hugo Bravo LPPT
