What the topic says... This a lake (I guess) near Las Vegas. My terrain addons are FTX Global and UTX USA...

Humm....elevation issue.  What addons have you got that cover this area?  Scenery, mesh, airports, UTX for instance may be the issue? FS Genesis.

 

Etc.

 

Try firstly turning off UTX and see if it goes away.

If it turns out to be UTX, check you have the latest version, for USA it's version 1.6:

This problem happens because hydro polygons have fixed elevation, so they will make a pit or plateau if the elevation is wrong.

Looks a little like it might be the Salton Sea which was broken in UTX USA and fixed a long time ago?
