October 28, 201312 yr Just checking again to see if this has been acknowledged by PMDG. I am referring to the seemingly random DEPARTURE locations where one does not see ANY illumination thru the VC no matter how dark it is outside. And some departure locations where one does see the expected illumination, hence the randomness. Oddly, when it's time for arrival at night the landing lights are very bright as one nears touchdown. This has been reported several times but it is such a glaring (or not so..) issue that I'm hoping it's not being brushed over using various rationales that don't really seem to apply, such as 'it's supposed to be dim thru the VC windshield'. It's not dim, it's completely absent! There appears to be a flag of sorts that is telling the T7 to illuminate the ground at some airports, and not at others, and it's hard to see any rhyme nor reason to this. October 28, 201312 yr The distinction between airports where the lights work, and where they don't work, don't happen to be payware vs. freeware or default? I know PMDG has used some special techniques in creating the lights. Perhaps some pay ware isn't compatible with it? Name available upon request
