FSUIPC 3

Featured Replies

Any one ,I  am assigning buttons thru fsuipc everything works fine except, when I restart fs9 some of the buttons are now doing other things, fsuipc changes the assignment.help if you can. Thanks.

    FS9 ,FSUIPC3.999z8,  opencockpit joystick card.

Could be that FS9.cfg is overriding your Fsuipc.ini.

As for testing: find your joystick section in fs9.cfg and add Locked=1 to lock standard auto assignments in your config.

Cheers

thanks for your reply, have 5 joysticks added 'LOCKED =1' to all, no change.

Do an assignment and calibration in FSUIPC. Then make a copy of the FSUIPC.ini file. Close and reopen FS9. Then have a look to see if the .ini file has changed.

You can setup fsuipc to totally disregard FS9 button assignments I believe. Same with joystick mapping and calibration. See page 41 in the user guide.

Read about profiles and aircraft specific settings starting around page 23 in the user guide. You have a choice of global or aircraft specific settings that may assist you.

Prior to named profiles aircraft model names were used. These are the model sensitive classes of functions:

[buttons.<,aircraft name>]
[Keys.<,aircraft name>]
[Axes.<,aircraft name>]
[JoystickCalibration.<,aircraft name>]
